Phasor Corporation employs engineers from a variety of backgrounds: Construction, Design, Utility, and Industrial. The following are services that are provided, and upon the conclusion of each service, Phasor Corporation will submit a comprehensive engineering report and will discuss any issues with our client.
This service involves scanning live switchgear, panels, and other various electrical equipment while under normal load. This scan is performed with an infrared camera in which problems such as loose connections and overloaded conductors are captured and included in a comprehensive report.
Conforming to The Institute of Electronics and Electrical Engineers (IEEE) Std. 4-1995, Services include the following:
- Overcurrent Testing
- Megger / Hi-pot
- Doble Testing
- Ground Resistance Testing
- Infrared Scanning
- Battery and DC power systems testing
Arc Flash Analysis
Conforming to The Institute of Electronics and Electrical Engineers (IEEE) 1584 – 2002 Guide to Performing Arc-Flash Hazard Calculations, Phasor can provide this service along with the proper documentation. This service will provide information regarding potential fault current at any given point within a power distribution system. This study will also identify the proper PPE (power protection equipment) needed while working in a “live” voltage environment.
Power distribution system & breaker coordination. This study will ensure that overcurrent devices will open in a proper sequence, thus limiting down time, possible equipment damage, and/or personal injury.
